often overlooked contributions of women to political economy, spanning from the 17th century to the present day and coming from all over the planet.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Many of these women were not formally trained as economists\u2014either due to the absence of the field at the time or their exclusion from academic institutions\u2014but they were nonetheless deeply engaged with
